I was a lurker back in 97, when I got my first home computer I immediately looked for stuff on P and ran across this site...but did not join until last year..after the ONA Tour.

Still here! I have been around since '98. I suppose the hot topic around the time I signed up was the Crystal Ball fiasco -- folks had spent $50 and the project was showing up at Blockbuster Video for $30.

When I first got online and found other P admirers the hot topic was the impending release of Come. I actually called the WB media relations dept. to get details on the album and spread the news online. That was back in the days when alt.music.prince. was a beautiful place to be (how things change) and the PML was in full effect (thanks Jon). It was a good time to be a fan (we hadn't even heard the word "fam" yet!  )
