i wonder if it is becuz of the One Nite Alone tour being successful or has TRC made an impact 18 months after it's release and ppl are reacting to it?

If anything he is becoming more and more obscure, except for the odd mention in a music magazine by a journalist who is desperate for him to try a 'come-back' so that they can rip him to shreds and allude to how cool they think they are by mentioning Dirty Mind and 1999.

i don't think that's the reason for the new usernames on the ORG.

i think that can be attributed to the poisonous 'Moors' lyrics, discussion about which provoked lines being drawn between black and white ORGers, and led to the departure and banning of more than one ORG member. now people are starting to finally trickle back. .

Today on my local music station, the ticker tape at the bottom said "eccentric musician Prince releases new cd on his own site through his music club". Perhaps people are attracted to the word "eccentric"? Hope they know what they're getting into because we all know how hard it is to be a Prince fan some days. I love his music and always will but some days I just shake my head at him and say WTF?

i highly doubt it.
