I love the beat and feel to the song. It's one of the great last Prince, Prince songs. The kick drum sample is fierce.

But the only thing is that flute thing at the beginning, it hurts me ears.

One of those album cut classics that did not get released as a single like the Ballad of Dorothy Parker or Adore. Also one tune that actually gets better when done live. The ONA version is insane!

My first Prince concert, The Nude Tour 02/06/1990, he played this song. The whole stadium was dark, except for the spotlight on stage. On the beat of this song almost everybody was flashing their lighters.
Fantastic!

Once again, another Arabic-influenced # in Prince's music nod I love that song. What do you guys think of the demo version from 86?

Question2003

The Question Of U is a masterpiece one
of the best songs that Prince has written
and theres alot of them.

This song has so much feeling in it. Prince
plays the guitar beautifully with so much love
that you can feel what he is feeling.

I love this song. yes,

I guess you could look at it that way-- he left it open to interpretation. It's clear to me the song is addressed to God.
