npgmc: WILL U FOLLOW the MASTER or the SLAVES?

"a membership DOANTION of $25"
"u will b able 2 access 3 SONGS from the NEW DVD"

That's quite clear:
- no 100$ fee but a 25$ donation.
- no free CD's but 3 SONGS and priority on seats for next live events.

Now I hear some of u complainin, but think of what people use 2 spend with pop stars: posters, pop singles, DVD's, magazines… It's a question of choice.
U pay for the music industry or u give the money 2 your idol. A fat boss with a big cigar or a little creative man. With NEWS, Prince goes international like in 985 with ATWIAD. That souns great – I enjoyed Xpectation: so cool!
R u ready 2 follow the master or the slave?
This is sad 4 the poorest ones, but there's always a (pirate) solution 4 them…

I always believed that one pays for music always, no matter whether the money goes to the little creative musician or a fat rich guy with a cigar. It's a product for which you simply must pay.

Of course I prefer to pay to Prince (in a way I value his stance in the music business of today), although I might miss from time to time the advantages of big corporate record companies and buying music from them.

The fact is, however, that I don't pay that much attention to whom my money goes, but rather whether I get the music I want. My only concern is that I don't get pirate/P2P copies of the music that is available legally in the stores/on the Internet. Money is a means in this instance. At least for me. smile

Prince made Kamasutra and Xpectation.
Now there is NEWS.
Nothing especialy disapointing 2 me: Prince makes the music he wants and when he wants, so it doesn't mean this is his latest "commercial" or "serious" project (this CD will not be commercialy promoted). It's only "creativity" like he did in the past (Black album and outakes too)…
"Let's wait a while"… Prince will NEVER be a real capitalist. And this is good news!
