I shall ask this question again...

Am I the only one who enjoyed Grafitti Bridge (the movie)?

ugh. i've never met a non-fanatic that actually enjoyed that movie and could watch it over and over again like "sign o' the times."

you have to be nuts to like that movie.

everything that was good about utcm & pr was lacking in "graffiti bridge."

define "enjoy"

I liked some of the music scenes

I was laughing my head off at some others

in a way you can thus say I enjoyed the movie smile

I mean, it had its bad moments, but I think Prince was after all trying to deliver the message that good shall win over evil. But I will admit that out of all of P's movies I liked this one the least.

I actually do love that movie - more than Purple Rain! However, my other favorite movies include "Wizard Of Oz", "The Muppet Movie" and "Neverending Story" so I guess that it fits in quite well!

I tend to like my "adult" movies a little more surreal than "Purple Rain" is (barring the backwards recording scene) - it's just a bit too "normal" for me.

"Graffiti Bridge" wins hands down for it's fairytale-like qualities - sorry, but I'm just a big kid at heart!

Lets be honest, its absolutely awful. Its not even good enough to be in the so-bad-its-good category which houses classics like Howard the Duck. Basically, its absolutely shit

Heard Round and Round whilst trying on a pair of Jeans in GAP today though, which I found highly irregular

So the answer is, u r not alone with your perversities concerning the 1990 Warner Bros/Paisley Park cinematic release Grafitti Bridge. No need 2 fret underneath the cold cloak of reality, this is where our type congregate. We are the forgotten men popular music left behind.

The camera catching Mavis laughing when Ingrid gets knocked down is a bit much 2 take tho...

But the direction, lighting and filter work, IMHO, is truly magical and successfully casts a spell over the viewer, blinding him or her over how convolutedly spliced the script is tho..

The Director's Cut is just around the corner...

Actually,at one point,Warners felt the same way and there was some discussion about releasing it straight to video. But you know that would have really pissed Prince off...lol...

I like the movie, the Joy in repetition Scene and the scene when she wakes up in his bed and he draws the hangman game the look on his face when he points to it and then to her is priceless.

Now my daughter absolutely LOVES this movie more than any of the others including SOTT.

go figure
