GREATEST PRINCE OUTTAKES Which Prince outtakes have you heard at the house of a less scrupulous Prince fan who collects bootlegs or downloads mp3s of bootlegged songs, that you feel it's a crime that it's never been released?
Witness 4 The Prosecution I Wonder All My Dreams Electric Intercourse A Place in Heaven (My bf favorite outtake!) Just my Imagination (cover, but all the same...my friend is in love with this Small Club track) Teacher Teacher (another of my bf's faves) I'm sure there are others... Right now, Witness 4 the Prosecution is my favorite. There are two versions, and I like the funky one. Really amazing stuff... I don't see why that song wouldn't be at least a minor classic if it had been released. It's funky and bursting with wild energy tapped from both gospell and rock -- I gather Wendy and Lisa contributed to it a great deal. | |

omg, i'd forgotten about "the second coming"...love that one, 2!  the only dm-era outtakes that exist are "lisa" and "gotta stop (messin about)". "gotta stop" wuz released, "lisa" wasn't...both woulda worked great on dm 2, so they shoulda been on the album.
