Just got the email through with the above message. another cd , another fuck up. Its so bad its now funny!. They will start shipping 'when the stock arrives in our warehouse'. Hands up who's actually surprised by this. Anyway letts hope that it's only a weeks delay.

yes, but he does fuck up some things!. anyways point being it was to start shipping on the 25th and now maybe delayed by upto a month. Just thought i'd share for general info with the odd snide comment for good measure.

The "1-4 weeks" is part of the AUTOMATICALLY generated e-mail.

seriously, at least they are informing people early about this. That's better than last year when the cd's were in stores, for half the price and for months already, when members paying 100$ still had to get it, and NOTHING was said by the club. Not even one apology.

Anyway... however it goes don't expect one good thing and it can only become better than your worst expectations.

That damn Prince! I mean, since he is God and everything, he really should be able to control when the cds arrive at the wharehouse. And after the whole 25 bucks you paid him too, I mean, i bet that set you back. the nerve of this man. he can never get anything right!

This "not being at the wharehouse, gonna take an extra week to ship" shit ain't exclusive to the NPMC, you know. Don't belive me? Go order something off of Q.V.C.

Ok, I agree that this is disappointing, but there are so many more important things going on in the world. Read the message carefully (in the NEWS - Room):

Please Note: The initial demand for N.E.W.S has been so great that we can no longer ship all of the ordered CDs by June 25. We will fulfill as many orders as possible from the initial pressing and then fulfill the remaining orders as soon as more stock arrives. This may not be until mid-July, so please be patient. NPGMC orders will be fulfilled before the CD is available in stores, so this is still the best place to get the N.E.W.S. before the rest of the world."

It means that some of the orders will be fullfilled. So what exactly is your problem, you don't even know if YOU will get you copy on time, yet. It seems that nowadays everybody is complaining about everything Prince does or does not. That is sad, indeed...
