Hmmm... Thats like 20 tracks! I usually have over 1,000 tracks on my ipod! And soon I'm getting the new 30GB so I can have 7,500 tracks. I could have 3,000 Prince songs and still have a ton of other stuff or WHATEVER!

Yeah but you can't go running with your mp3 player. I have both the harddrive and the chip styles and I tell you I prefer the computer chip variety. A 128 mb drive will hold around 30 songs at 128 kbs and I have a lot of fun before each workout choosing the songs that I am going to listen to that day. . That is the main reason I got my ipod! For running!! I can go on two hour runs (yes I train to run the Twin Cities Marathon each year) and just put it on random shuffle and get an endless variety!!! It is PERFECT for running Fits in my hand nicely (I do have it in a protective case) I have oer 8,000 songs on my computer hard drive and I can just put a random 1,000 or so on the ipod or choose specific playlists, albums, whatever!

Interesting. I don't have enough buffer memory and it eventually skips when I run fast. Plus I don't want to carry it and I worry about wrecking it. That's why I bought the sports one because it does not skip and as it holds about 2 2/12 hours of music at 128kb which is plenty for even my Saturday long runs. Plus I like wearing it on my arm as opposed to my hand and it has a radio. But hey whatever works for you. I also tuck in all the wires under my shirt and lift weights with the sport mp3 player and I even shoot baskets at the gym while wearing the thing. Anyway I am in training for the TC marathon myself so it's nice to meet people of similar interests. . [This message was edited Mon Jun 16 6:32:58 PDT 2003 by lovemachine]

What is the support 4 the Rio player, is it good? As my Panasonic MP3 has software by Real player, but it came out 3 years ago and theres no update.
