If its any better than the vcr copy I made from the pay per view it is excelllent.If you love Prince performing LIVE you will digg this on DVD. | |

It's not very good. There are good moments, but overall the performance is so-so and the camera work will make you sick. That said as a Prince fan you need to own it. | |

The Rave DVD sucks really bad... the editing looks like it was done by an epileptic monkey with severe mental retardation.
I will pay five dollars to anyone who can show me a place on that whole DVD where a shot goes ten seconds without cutting to another camera. That fucking disc is a piece of shit. SUPERJOINT RITUAL - http://www.superjointritual.com

Do any of you so called Prince fans ever have anything good to say about anything Prince does? That concert is the shit. So what if the editing isn't the greatest. That concert itself kicks ass! If the DVD didn't jump from camera to camera every ten seconds you would complain about it being too boring.

It may not be his best work, but it is Prince, and it is live, and it is a DVD, so you can't go too wrong with that combination. People like myself who live far away from Minneapolis and the US only have this DVD to show for Prince's live concerts of the past few years. Can't wait for Live at the Aladdin, Las Vegas!! It's the best quality Prince show out there, bar-none. Great 5.1 channel audio and crisp, colorful video. The show itself, and the editing may not be to some people's liking, but I love it.
Get it before it's out of print. If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot. | |
