Damn, are you happy now,Bart? You're truly one of a kind. You actually get off on proving somebody wrong (as if ANY of this information is really important). You really should get out more.

There's no need for lies or misinformation. Just check the Prince FAQ for examples of people being less than factual with things. There's still people looking for the songs from the 2-LP Purple rain acetate, or renting Fargo to watch Princ ein the snow, etc.

Didn't some lyin' ass dutch or belgian jackass reporter claim that he had asked Prince if he made a cameo in "Fargo" and that he confirmed? I remember reading this a couple of years ago... Who was that liar again?

Neversin.

I don't think anyone here is lying or being "less than factual" about things. It's just that SOME people are not overly obsesssed with every little thing that goes on in the Prince world (imagine that!).So,they don't necessarily feel the need to remember, analyze, research, and memorize EVERY little meaningless detail. It's okay to correct a person when they're wrong, but why all the smartass comments? Instead of saying...

"Don't make up stuff to make yourself interesting"

you could have just said...

"Actually, this is what really happened" and maybe use a happy face in your posts every once in a while?

Bart-

You probably think we set up this post just to piss you off with information that you'd rant about. That's right, it was all a conspiracy to make you look like an ass. Thanx for playing along so well!

Damn, you do need to get out more. Glad we could collectively tell you what time it was. Hope you understand now a little better.

No hard feelings. You just had it coming.

Thanx to the rest of you for bringing back the memories of when magazines like THE PRINCE FAMILY were there for the fans. It was a great time to be a fan. Sorry that Bart seems to have pee'd all over everyone who had a nice reflection about this but that seems to be his way.

It truely sucks that Prince threatened the creators of the newsletter (Diana Dawkins & Edwena Brunell) with a lawsuit and they shut it down

Don't make stuff up to make yourself intertesting. Stick to the FACTS -- which in this case have been widely publicised: Diana was seriously pissed off with P for a long while, and then the lawsuits vs Uptown & co (which they were NOT mentioned in) were the final straw.

And out went an intelligent publication.

Cue the birth of the original prince.org news ... Which was okay until they allowed posts from users without having proper moderators, and then it all went downhill fast.

Damn Bart ! That is the best thing you've posted in a LONG time .

Peace to BART !

I agree. Bart is usually much more of a dick. Are you holding back? Let them all have it. I think there was a spelling error in one of their emails as well. How come you didn't point that out too. You must be off your game.

I miss the prince family too. It was a great magazine. Much better than controversy. Was uptown a magazine during this time? I don't remember.
