Sorry if I'm asking an obvious question - I haven't had chance to read any other 'NEWS' threads - but I've just been to the NPGMC and watched the Flash intro. Because I'm in work I can't tell if there's any music playing or not

Can anyone tell me if there are any extracts of 'NEWS' and what they sound like?? (Looks like I've got yet ANOTHER lunchtime mad dash to the Internet cafe!).

I'm so glad Prince is taking the experimental 'artist' route again. Push that envelope, Princey!

The music is the same as the sample in the Vault room, only longer. Sounds very asian influenced - probably inspired by his Japan tour late last year. I just hope it's not too "environmental music-ish!" (sposed to make you horny, just makes me want to go to the bathroom!)

My Internet Explorer crashes half way through as well Tom. . .right after the word "Faith" comes across the screen and then it goes blank. . .

so at the end does it just say "June 19"? What else does it say? Order now? For download?

The flash animation kind of reminds me of those "inspirational posters" you see plastered all over office walls. Sorta like a big image of some mountain climber framed in a black border with the word "ACHIEVEMENT" in big bold letters, and a quote from Emerson or somethig beneath it.

Is there anyway to store the promo for NEWS?

On the promo with the pictures, is this a sample of the music? It sounds like doomsday music. Am I the only one that isnot excited at all about another instrumental? I think this is very disappointing.

Pardon me for asking a question that might take forever to answer and shows just what a loser I am, but how do you get this album. Do you have to join NPGMC just to buy the album? The way I understood it was that you used to get Prince's albums that he released just by being a member. Also, what is the deal with "Xpectation"? Was that a real album or just downloads. Can I buy it?
