Harlepolis	The 1980-81 Prince Movie I heard rumors about it being a porn movie but I really don't believe it. Anyway ya'll, what is this movie about? And who act there beside Prince? Holla

oh, the second coming? wasn't a porn movie, but somewhat of a precursor 2 pr and all that. took place around the time of p's hometown concert 4 the 1999 tour (3/7/82)...some footage of said concert wuz filmed and it wuz intended 2 be just a concert film but it seems like p liked the idea so much, he incorporated vignettes in betwixt the footage.

...and of course, it didn't see the light of day. mo' info 2 be found in uptown #51. geek

it won't be long...before the second edit...

Contrast this with Michael Jackson, who purchased his childhood home in Gary, Indiana and is talking of turning the home into a Jackson attraction, sort of like the Motown Museum in Detroit.

DavidEye	'The Second Coming' was planned as a concert film with alot of steamy,behind-the-scenes footage thrown in.The concert footage is taken from a 1982 show of the 'Controversy' tour.Vanity appears in some of the steamy scenes,which were shot at Prince's home.I don't know if the film was ever completed,but I'd sure to love to get my hands on a copy!

Thanks for clearing this up. I always thought it was the Houston footage that was used not Bloomington.
