john blackwell confirms participation on NEWS i went to the drum clinic in auckland New zealand, last night and asked him while he was signing his page in the ONA booklet.
its amazing seeing him perorm 20 minute drum solos in a cathedral, its the closest ill get to seeing the NPG, i love the way he twirls those sticks. my friend works for radio and interviewed john, ill be getting a cd copy of the interview and sounboard copy of the show, he answered loads of questions but couldnt talk much about prince . . If the milk turns out to be sour, I aint the kinda pussy to drink it! |

oh, i forgot to mention, he has his own album coming out next year with guest appearances from amongst others, Prince who is apparently working on a few trax.

Yeah, U're right, had a great time!
I think he even converted the non Prince listeners, they were shocked at how great he was.
