Strange that not many people discuss this great performance more often.
Stevie's speech did seem to go on for too long (funny how people did not seem too enthusiastic when he gave props to Duke Ellington, but reacted wildly when he mentioned guys like Miles and Marvin...)
But as soon as P and Stevie got into their stride they just brought the house down, Stevie's vocal performance was vintage and P's guitar solo was scorching!

The booing from the audience at the end (I guess because of the brevity of the performance) was absolutely disgraceful...Some people will never be satisfied
