help with tracking please!! Isn't there a program that can be downloaded that will break a piece of music down into tracks? I would like to make a tracked version of 'Lovesexy" and be able to pull-out some of the stuff from the audhio shows. Is this a free program and will it work on MAC? Speaking of the audhio shows- is there a boot that has a version of'Dance Electric' that is as electric and guitar heavy as the one from the audhio shows, perhaps a little longer and pretty clear?? | |

I don't know about any programs but if you can find LOVESEXY japanese version on CD the songs are not all linked -------------------------------------------------

You should be able to pick up a tracked copy of LS for about £5 ($8) - they're all tracked now, at least over here - I have one of both, the tracked one I didn't even know it was tracked until I played it LOL!
As for a program to cut up mp3's - well I dunno, unless there's a proggie that does that, your best bet is to convert the mp3s to .wav and cut the wavs up in a wav editor like Sound Forge or Cool Edit (check download.com for those). You can then write those to CD, but bear in mind if you re-encode them to mp3, they will lose even more quality. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Just convert the audiotrack from your CD to a waveform, isolate the tracks, and burn them to a CD. The almighty Exact Audio Copy will assist you, as is Goldwave...  | |

I use a program called MP3 trackmaster. I'm not sure if it works with Macs, but you can try their website: http://www.heathcosoft.com/ ______________________________________
