Someone started a thread on Prince and the Rock N' Roll Hall of Fame. He also does not have a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in L.A. What are your thoughts?

I don't think that Prince would participate in the ceremony to begin with. The whole star of fame lost it's luster when I found out that all it takes is cash to get that star. I remember awhile back a rep for New Edition was trying to raise the funds for thier star. If Prince didn't get it during the Purple Rain years, he won't get it now...He's cooler than that, anyways...Aloha~ Besides, he's got a mango tree on Maui with his name on it...Now that's cooler than Santa Claus~~

Hi, Back in the late 90's shortly after he changed his name, fan clubs around the country were preparing to raise money for the star. I think it was $10,000 then, not sure about now with inflation. Prince said he would not attend the ceremony if it wasn't represented by the symbol. That idea was canned. I'll venture to say, if presented to him the right way.. he just might do it..But then again with him u never know.. Holla!

I think it would be cool to see the symbol and his name on it.
