Dansa, admit it, your lover man is a bastard..lol I'm presently reading a biography on Truman Capote, a man whose career took a commercial and artistic dive. There's a lot of unflattering stuff in the book, but it does not feel like Hahn's bio of Prince simply because the authoractually gets into his subject in depth. Hahn doesn't. He is very superficial even when Prince's flaws are unmistakable. Copte's flaws were just as obvious, but they are not recounted to say "look what a bastard he is." They are told to illuminate the subject's personality, alongside other stories that don't all go in the same direction. | |

i bought the book on amazon and have been trying to read it. i think the writing style is a bit draining. he introduces everyone as though we forgot who they were from chapter 1, 2 & 3. It's a little frustrating.
i think i'm still on page 50 and i've had the book now for about 2 weeks. that shows you how impressed i am. 1 Thessalonians 5:23 | |

Look at the last part of DMSR to see when songs were recorded. Dave Hill has nothing that even comes close to that. Bottom line... POP LIFE is good, PURPLE REIGN is good, POSSESSED is OK, but DMSR and DOW rule supreme. Nuff said.
