'Uptown, man. Uptown...'

As a final thread, I thought I'd like to share where my thoughts are in terms of Prince's growth...

It seems that with the 80's, Prince dreamt up his life and lived it daringly. We connected and grew up on his energy, his vibe - the mad, genius, addictive funk. The 80's were as essential to us, as they were to Prince. During the 90's, I guess we all got lost looking for the same love. Things seem to change when you get older, the rules get rewritten and sometimes it's easier to look for a way out. The problem comes when you're really all about soul, there is no way out, just a way back...

Prince was, is, and will always be, part of my soul. I'd like to thank whoever was responsible for allowing me to grow up and learn through him. I may have been considered weird back then, I may still be, it really doesn't matter. Prince allowed me to dream, and that's a beautiful thing. Now it's my turn to become everything I could ever dream to be. This place has given me space to breathe life into that dream. So, to all of you, thanks so much for sharing. And to Prince, 'Uptown, man. Uptown...'
