madhouse

i found an old cdr with madhouse recordings on it but it seems that all the songs were labeled wrong. does anyone have a complete madhouse discography with the song names AND track length?

If by 'labeled wrong' you mean the titles are just numbers...then they are not labeled wrong smile

Madhouse song (and album) titles are just numbers (at least on the 2 officialy released albums they are...I dunno about '24')

the first 24 was supposed to come out in 1988... the 2nd one was what you saw on the insert for the "1800newfunk" release... and of course, none of those ever saw the light of day...

The above track titled "24" is actually a much earlier track that was recorded by Prince on his own and was never intended to be part of any of the Madhouse projects, before or after. The belief that this instrumental was part of the New Power Madhouse project has persisted to this day, however.

In all likelyhood, it was just an instrumental Prince recorded on his own just before he embarked on the Batman project.

Cool. I just did a snatch from guide2prince. There was a question mark by the track "24".

I still need to get clean sounding non-mp3's of both Madhouse 24 sets.
