Exodus Vs Goldni**a

i was listening 2 'Goldie' 2nite...all the way thru...

& it has become a favourite of mine.

the instrumentation is funky.
Tony M isnt annoying (tho others may disagree)

& i just get happy hearing it... gets me in a funky mood.
(Johnny is just 2 damn cool! smile )

Also the same 4 'Exodus'...

i think as a full album xperience,'Exodus' wins.

however i find more tracks on 'Goldie' r easier 2 listen 2 on their own. (even the lil interludes)

on 'Exodus',...New Power Soul,Big Fun & Return Of The Bump Squad (i know i'll get in twubble 4 that one)
just dont hit me as much.
however it's hard2 find a track on Goldie that i dont like.

its hard 2 choose,but like i said...

'Exodus' is a better album xperience all-round.

discuss these 2 find offerings from the NPG
smile

Exodus & NewPowerSoul r 2 of my favorite albums. the collaboration or Prince & The NPG during those eras were magnificent!
Peace ... & Stay Funky ...

I don't think that NewPowerSoul is a real Npg album like Exodus, Goldnigga, it lacks the vibe of the 93-95 band

I've only heard a few tracks off the "Goldni**ga" album, but the ones that I've heard I've liked. I have the "Exodus" album on CD and I looove it! It is so funky and funny, especially the "Mashed Potato Girl Intro". lol Whenever I'm in a bad mood and need to laugh, I put the "Exodus" CD on for a listen. It usually cheers me up right away. smile
RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

Take some of the more boring seques off the Exodus album
and replace them with "Johnny" and "Deuce & A Quarter" &
you have one mega funky album.

Oh and do include "The Good Life - Big City Remix" cuz it's
probably the best Prince rap ever.

Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!
woot!

compared to Exodus, Goldnigga is unbelieveable lame + uninspired.

I love Exodus. Alothough it's a 21 track CD with about 9 songs on it lol

Apart from the instrumental New Power Soul I love all the songs on that album.
