I couldn't believe the man was at the concert tonite. I actually saw him there. It was like 15 feet away from where I was sitting.

My wife is a Dixie Chick fan or any good country band. So we went to Dixie Chick concert tonight. (perhaps I should say last night since it is pass midnite.) Anyway, I brought my digital camera to make movie clips of each song for her as well as taking pictures. About 4 songs later, (mind you that I am deaf and I had an interpreter at the concert but my wife is hearing.) One of the Xcel Center staff was informing one interpreter (there was two) that the man in the middle part of the floor (on the back side) is Prince and company. She turned around and told me. That was the best part of the concert. Hearing that news. I was all excited and thrill. I tried to see him but it was quite dark. He had a bodyguard moving back and forth near him. There was like 4 of them around it along with the Xcel security. When I saw where he was sitting, next to his wife. I saw more of his wife than him. His wife was easy to see. I took a picture with the digital. One of the bodyguards saw me and gave me the hand motion, no more. I gave him a hand motion. alright, okay. But then he kept an eye on me for awhile.

After a few more songs, I recorded of Dixie Chicks. Then they were playing one song that people were sitting down for. I decided to give a shot. I turn the flash off of my digital camera and pretended to enjoy the concert when I am aiming the digital camera to where Prince is. Took a bunch of shots. Hey it's digital, it costs me nothing.

Then I knew he would leave early. Doesn't take a genius to figure out. During the second to last song, they were escort past me to the tunnel which is on the other side of the medal posts from where my wife is sitting. I saw him walk by with his wife and few other relatives or friends, whoever they were. But that one bodyguard kept an eye on me the whole time so I didn't try to do anything stupid. Just smiled and watched them. I wanted to say "Happy B-Day" but wasn't going to embarrass my wife.

After the concert, I downloaded the images and movie clips, start looking at those bunch of shots and Lo, and behold! There he is. Just one picture, the best it can be without a flash!

So after all, I could say that he had dinner with the group and then came to watch the show, who knows what the did afterwards.

The wheelchair was for someone. The white strip thing is a curtain type thing with post holding it. It is black. Almost everyone in the group wore black.

suomynona, Thank you for lightening up the picture making it more believable.

Joshy, Yes, Mani was there. That was who I was seeing the most. It is easy to find her since her hair makes it notiable. Also she obviously must have sat in the front of the two rows since she kept turning back as if Prince sat in the back. Prince was with a group of friends or relatives that I have no idea who. It was too dark or hard to make it out.

And yes, I did a small videotape of where they were sitting but unfortunely you can't see the gang. You can see the bodyguard I am talking about. It is a very short clip. I need time to get it cropped and uploaded. You don't need the whole video, just that part.

I have to give credit to that Xcel staff for informing the interpreter otherwise I would have no idea and the whole thing missed. Hey, I did celebrate with Prince indirectly for his birthday.
