$$ what's the best Prince purchase u have made? $$ since there is a cd/record fair coming up next weekend,
i was curious who could claim the best snag of Prince cds/vids/posters/memorabilia etc... in one day i picked up NPS,Gold,Come,Vault all for $8au each. & Emancipation for only $14au Purple Rain VHS for only $5 Betcha By Golly WOW! promo single for 50cents... 2nd hand (not a scratch on it!) an old rolling stone mag with P,L&W on the cover,only $2 Diamonds & Pearls video collection $10au. (only one i have seen around) nothing special i know...but pretty cool when i picked them up

The best deals I can remember are The Pope 12" for 20 STG.
Once I traded the Aussie Automatic 7" and Sheen Easton's 101 CD for The Family CD. Can't complain about that! Life it ain't real funky unless you got that orgPop. | |

I bought a round 6 tapes(darkages I know) 4 $6 cdn. about 7 years ago. & bought Emancipation & The Hits & B-sides for $10 cdn. each **************************************************

picked up a couple madhouse 8 cds (still in their longboxes) at a fred meyer grocery store for $3.99 each... sold them on ebay years later for $75 each or something like that.
didn't need them since i have the japanese cds (8 & 16, as seen in my profile.) | |

Uhm, let's see, probably that Prince comicbook, the one of
him with his yellow cloudguitar on the cover in front of a backdrop of flames. Printed, I think in ehm 1991 or something I guess. I traded it with someone who didn't care much for Prince and thus got it for a packet of gum and a quick fumble.  and true love lives on lollipops and crisps | |

i paid $250 each for 2 tickets in 1993 when i was under the impression that this was prince's last tour... they were nosebleed seats too... oh, and i had to drive from astoria oregon to san francisco too...

Tracked Lovesexy CD, from Germany. I got it really cheaply (few pounds) from an import store and it meant I could finally enjoy the album properly (before that I'd relied on a cassette version). | |
