Which version do you like better?

Mazarati's version or Prince's own version.
Prince's own version sounds demo-ish to me, so I like Mazarati's better.

Whats your take on it?

They're both cool, I hinge toward the Prince version since
that is the one I heard first. Only years later did I get
a copy of the Mazarati version.

I like the lyrics. It's a funny track. There's a keyboard
line in there that always reminds me of the end of the ext
version of Scarlet Pussy.

I too can see what you mean, but the '100 MPH' actually features a playful five-note progression, whereas the keyboard line in Scarlet Pussy is much faster and has no changes.

The '100 MPH' Prince is just a demo, but it's still way too sick for the overproduced version on the Mazarati album.

There is also an ear-splitting Mazarati outtake of this song where the drum snares sound like rifle shots. Not good.

You haven't missed much lol

Take it from me: P's version is better... Just like P's version of 'The Dance Electric' is way better than Andre's

I totally love Mazarati's version.

I remember first hearing it when it debuted on (don't laugh) Casey Kasem's radio countdown.

I loved it instantly and knew right away it was Prince related.
