what do u lot think about this?

i think it is a bit odd 2 try & get others 2 stop cussin when he has made so much art that has 4-letter words in it.
sure it is cool 4 him 2 stop cussin' if he now doesnt agree with it.
heck,sometimes i feel i should hold back on dirty language & try 2 watch my mouth...
but i dont try & force it on others.
same as his religious beliefs.

however it is a catch 22... cuz his art is so exposing & true of who Prince is as a person...
if he didnt write & sing about what was real then he would b fake & also we wouldnt get such great music as we r of late.

Lovesexy/TRC: both very personal & highly narrative of those periods in his life.
thus,musically & lyrically,some of his best work.


also another line he throws in during this sndcheck is:
"can i get u anything?...how about,a cold beer?... NOT!"

same man who,after the 1st jam at Small Club said "how many of y'all r drunk? (crowd cheers) ... ALRIIIGHT!"

personally i think it is cool 2 change & evolve as a person...
otherwise life would b pretty boring.
just aslong as it aint forced on others & doesnt become 'preeching'.


(i'm not saying P is preeching with these comments... tho on the cussin' thing he is. just sayin'... )

If Prince said he used to have tourette syndrome, then he still has it.
It's a life long affliction, and even though the tics can become less severe as one gets older, there is no cure. I knew all those faces he made weren't just silly stage antics.
But here's the part that makes you go hmmm. Did Warner Bros. know that Prince has tourette syndrome? Did they profit off the fact that Prince cursed uncontrollably?
I work with a guy who has tourettes and while he can sort of control the vocal outbursts by whispering or muttering so everyone can't hear him, the other facial and body tics are very noticable. But it's funny how quickly you get used to it. And he's a real sweet guy. But the looks he gets from some others makes it painfully obvious how difficult living with tourettes can be.
