1981 show in houston

ok i just finished watching the 81' show in houston
and i have 2 say it was so refreshing 2 watch a live band with no sequencing and loops just raw and funky! the way music was intended. they reminded me of the current npg line up.
i wish we could have this type of stuff still in the mainstream 2day.
good ol' funk n' roll!

dirtyde
too funk for rock too rock for funk

Ive not SEEn the show as yet, but I remember the audio recording I had of it - and it was stunning.
There was a real intensity there - I guess that was through him and the band giving 110% 2 put themselves 'out there' and leave a mark (just not a brown mark!)*
Loved it. Classic Show - classic tour...
*sorry! lol

Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!
woot!
