I just heard "Get Blue"

i think this could (have been) be a hit.

when was this recorded?
just so i can work out which album it would have been on at that time & if it would have fitted.

it sounds '89-90ish

killer song,those keys & the vocal arrangements r kickass.

It was recorded in 1990, the second session or second half of 1990 by Prince and Levi Seacer which was given to Louis Louis. Definitly would have been a hit for Prince if he released the song himself.

DavidEye	You know what? When I hear all these great Prince songs like "Get Blue",it makes me wonder...why did he give these songs away to one-hit wonders like Louie Louie? I feel the same way about "Open Book".Prince should have kept both of these songs for himself.I mean,no offense,but where is Louie Louie now? Where is Martika? Jeveeta Steele?

Prince is that genereous and good man that g-he can give it all to YOU. Get blue is one of my fav Prince song It sounds quite pop, but it's so full of emùotions. Too damn coolsong! We all know Prince has got too many hits in his pockets!
