It's the "old fashioned music" line that makes me cringe, cause the song is, erm... old fashioned, and was back in 1990 too IMO.

I always thought pepsi should have used that song for their commercial you know the choice of a new generation, prince could've easily changed the lyrics to "we're the new pepsi generation we're gonna change the world the only thing that's standing in the way is you!! then camera flashes to a guy drinking cocacola"

It's a fun little song, I likes it.

Hell yeah, I'm down with this song. Fun and funky with a great message. This is what he was *trying* to do in ballad form with "Graffiti Bridge" (the song). Love it. Loved most of the maxi-single, too, especially "Get Off," "The Lubricated Lady" and "Loveleft Loveright." Thumbs up for NPG.

It was my favorite song on the album the first time I heard it.

I love the maxi single for this song...it's one of my favorite tracks from the album, second only to 'Thieves'

Don't really like this song.It sounds too conventional,like what a typical R&B song sounded like in 1990.And the lyrics are corny.When Prince insists that he's "sick and tired of you tellin us what to do",he doesn't sound defiant,he simply sounds silly.The only interesting thing about this song is it features Morris Day playing drums.
