Prince on radio again I have a new favorite radio station here in New York ...102.7 Blink FM.
I have heard more Prince on their station in the past month than I have in other stations for the past year. Not only do they play the standards (Kiss, When Doves Cry, 1999), but I heard a remix of 7 last week, as well as the unedited version of Erotic City just yesterday!!! Life is good once again!  By St. Boogar and all the saints at the backside door of Purgatory! | |

we has it on the jammin oldies station all day for Memorial Day and they played the following:
Kiss Little Red Corvette I would die 4 u (they didnt let it go into baby i'm a star which kinda sucked...some songs just go together) Positivity YES

Perhaps...I heard 7 on Blink FM again today...and on KTU 103.5 they played Kiss. Either NY radio is trying to get on his good side, or my office has shifted into a parallel universe. By St. Boogar and all the saints at the backside door of Purgatory! | |

The only track I hear on radio from time to time is TMBGITW.
Even when Prince was in town in 2002 (Hamburg, Germany), the radio station that sponsored the show, did NOT play him. They had a trailer like "NDR2 presents ... Prince blablablabla" but nevertheless they did not play him because he did not fit their top-50 playlist. it's a mad mad world ... | |
