Has anybody seen this TV performance on Spanish Television from 1999?Was it any good? I've seen pictures and Prince is wearing a sweater that looks hideous.I'm just curious. Thanks.

Yeah this was probably the best of the European television appearances. I actually really liked it and listen to the audio from time to time, but almost never take the effort to dig out the video.

This performance is off the scale good, better than the rave concert dvd.

prettyman is tight funky, he does cool moves

motherless child is awesome

and even the sly stone covers are performed with a lot of moody energy.

My first though after seeing it was that Prince could still put as tight a show on as the sign o the times movie.

Plus one of my roommates in the hotel at the last celebration is dancing right next tot him at the end... she lucked out in going to the studio that day on short notice. (in Spain)

i wore this video out, especially 'motherless child', anyone who says he lost it in the 90's needs to watch this video , it is awesome.

The wardrobe is ridiculous, yes -- but he MURDERED the stage, especially with "Motherless Child."

I apologize for bumping my own thread, but I just saw this and it's awesome !! Not only were the performances off the hook, the testimonials were cool too. Seeing spanish speaking people (Carlos Santana, Celia Cruz!!??) talk in reverance and respect about Prince is a rarity these days.

I wondered about MOTHERLESS CHILD, until I seen his performance of this. I really liked after this. Great version and so much energy.
