prince acoustic show?

what are your opions on prince doing a live show an acoustic style set like mtv unplugged or whatever.i think about prince doing somthing like this and i think it would be so suited to him ,we had a thread yesterday about prince with a guitar round a camp fire and it really got my mind going.its obvious that artists have done well from mtv unplugged and beck was on bbc4 2nite doin an acoustic set it was amazing i cant image prince being anything but mindblowin what ye think.

He did an Acoustic set at the Celebration in 2002, and YES it is mind-blowing!!!

i was unsure if he,d done sumthing like this .i suppose the type of shows im referring to are fairly commercial .but at the celebration is his show i just think that for anyone that wants prince to move more into the general persons eye this would be the perfect way without losing class if u c what i mean

That was one of the highest points at the Celebration. Fantastic. I loved the telemarketer song.
If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.

I too found the majority of his acoustic show to be poor. Often his playing was uninspired and resulted in 'noodlings' which just didnt work, forgotten lyrics, poor time keeping. Sometimes his playing was just plain sloppy.However, on the plus side, managed to show some moments of brilliance. For instance, the joy and power in his voice during '7' and the fun displayed on his rendition of 'peach'.

i really believe that prince could do a great acoustic show. Although, i think it'd require some structure and thought on princes part before he put it into practice.
