I can't remember all the details off the top of my head, but it's from 1986, and Susan Rogers says it was a really soppy sugary ballad, so much so it made her laugh, and Prince was a bit surprised/confused at her finding it humourous.

Well theblueangel it was one of the songs put up for selection (and selected) by fans at the first Celebration for inclusion on Crystal Ball II. Now, why did that project get shelved?

excellent question, keithyt. can you IMAGINE what a slammin' summer it would be if we not only got to buy the dvd and NEWS, but a multi-disc crystal ball 2 set?

they could have a contest where people submit cover ideas and they post them on the site so we can download them..just send us the cd's in a sleeve, ya know? it doesn't have to be a really big process...just dig up the results of that poll from the celly and BAM!!

and for that matter...what about the crystal ball video collection that was mentioned a few times on the love4oneanother site in '98? prince's officially released video/dvd selection is the most paltry of any major musician...no wonder nobody realizes he's still making music.
