THE OTHERS - They're Out There - Real Prince Fans I mean...not internet fans...check your local community! .
Yesterday I met a Prince fan. Yeah really, I did! I'm serious...I didn't imagine this. It happened last night at a dinner function... I met this guy who was the pianist for the duo I was doing sound for. Anyway...we were talking musicians that we liked and he asked if I liked Prince... WELL! I was quite surprised...usually I'M the guy to ask that! I mean wow...there are others like us out there, guys... and they're not all on the org (they are usually musicians though). Just a thought. Do you know any of THE OTHERS? | |

I was walking down the street a couple of days ago and walked past three of the hardest thug drug dealers and they were talking about Prince and how he has so many songs in the vault. I was like "WTF"?? | |

Not in my town. I live in Brisbane, Australia with a population of about 3 million. Seriously, I think I'm the only hardcore Prince fan in this stinkin' city. Every CD store I walk into has the same Prince CDs covered in dust that have been there for years. Most people only know dodgy songs like "Cream" and it gives me the shits! try living in Bermuda. it has the population of 70,000 and i am the only fan, when i'm there. the guys in the record "shop" there know that when i'm in there i only look under the P section all the time. they even said to me once that i must be the only Prince fan in Bermuda. hahahaha!!! of course, they like crap like Linkin Park. | |

Tell me about it, I am yet to meet one person who listens to Prince!!! If I tell anyone I listen to Prince they either laugh or go on about how weird he is ( this is when my foot usually ends up in their mouth!!!). Not really,of course I wouldn't advocate violence but it gets kind of irritating when they go on and on ... | |

yeh i know toejam... i heard WhenDovesCry a couple of weeks ago on tripleMMM... woke up & sumthin told me2 put the radio on,since i never listen 2 radio... so turned it on & heard the intro 2 WDC. pretty cool...radio went off 4mins later of course. i always have some live Prince playing...really loud & wild stuff in the car... im surprised no1 has ever asked what i was listening 2... since its usually live cuts of peach,AlwaysInMyHair,The Ride,Bambi etc... ***************************************************************************************

Most of my friends take the piss out of prince. They all recognise that he is very talented but is music is just there kind of thing. I always ask new people if they like prince and most of them say they like Cream. It were proper bo I tell the!! Bo Selecta! | |
