Yes, the live performance at the MTV awards was outstanding. Loved the song from the very beginning. I still remember listening to SOTT (the LP) the very first time. I knew SOTT (the track) because it had been out for a while but track 2 just blew me away.
I felt a bit diasppointed after I was through the whole double album because none of the songs reached the energy of Play In The Sunshine. I still consider Play In The Sunshine as one of my favourites on SOTT. This is one of the typical tracks only Prince could do. | |

it will always remind me of the beatles in a speed-up version! that's what i also experienced the very first tiem when i heard it in 87.. greeeaaat song!
