I posted a new discussion topic which was actually some pros that I had composed. I was listening to some of Prince's music, as I often do, and I was feeling kind of down and low. His music, as it always does, made me feel much better and having become a recent member of this site, I thought what better way to show my appreciation to write an 'Ode' to the man. A kind of 'Thank you' because I assumed that a he read a site this large even though he has his own. Suprisingly I got several responses: one complementing my writing, one critical of my comparison to other artists that I consider great, and one disturbing (but greatly appreciated) response that said Prince will not see the post because he doesn't read anything but that which is posted on NPGMC.

I know he is as great businessman and it would not be in his best 'business' interest to explicitly respond to forums and chat on the site. But do you honestly think that he does not participate (anonymously) in a site this large dedicated to him.

I think he does... let me know what you think.

I recall a mid-90s interview where Prince confessed that he goes on the Internet and chats anonymously with fans.He didn't mention which sites he visits,but it's a safe bet that he comes here from time to time.I've heard alot of famous people say they do this.It's a way for them to find out what their fans are REALLY thinking.


I wouldn't be surprised to learn that Prince is a regular user that we chat with on a daily basis!

But, I've seen Bart in person, so unless it's a REALLY good sham, I believe that Bart is a real person.
