'Endorphinemachine' = Smoke On The Water' ? i played the song for a friend in the car (the original version)
& he said he thought the opening guitar riffs sound like a ripoff from Smoke On The Water. i don't think so,tho it is simillar i dont think P had that intention. anyway what do u lot think? ***************************************************************************************

in my opinion, the riffs are melodically and rhythmically similar, jeesh. what's the big deal? that's just one musician's opinion, anyway. i don't think prince "ripped anyone off" or anything, i was just commenting that i DO see the similarity, and i've had non-prince fan friends make the same observation.
in my opinion, endorphinmachine kicks the shit outta smoke on the water anyway. endorphin is SUCH a kick-ass song...i remember the first time i heard that was on that VH-1 honors's thing when he played it with interactive - DAMN that was an exciting night! err,my friend who commented on 'E-Machine' is a bass player & a gr8 guitarist. also is a DJ & music is one of his passions... so dont shoot off b4 u know facts. all i was saying was he just heard a simillarity there in the riffs of the 2 songs. he didnt mean 'rip off' like he stole a sample or directly played from the 'Smoke...' sheetmusic... he just meant that they sound simillar. & they do ***************************************************************************************
