I went to club remix in Fremont, CA. to watch Pete Escobedo perform on Friday night. Radio station KISS FM made a special, annoucement that PRINCE, SHEILA E, and PETE were going to perform at KIMBALLS CARNIVAL in Oakland, CA. on Sunday night. I confirmed this with Pete himself as he says about 10PM was the performance for Sunday night. I called KIMBALLS to confirm this and said $25.00 first come first serve on tickets. No advance sales. I get there at 6PM. On Sunday and the owner says that Prince will be a no show. Since Prince was not showing up, Sheila E called saying she was not showing up either. The owner was not pleased but was nice enought to let me and my friend hang out. He says wait and see`s what happens since this is a after party for Larry Graham. Well Larry`s son band plays about 10:45PM and Larry shows up after 11pm to jam with the band. Since I was so disappoointed not seeing prince Or Sheila E family showing up at the club, I left at 12 Midnight. Should have listen to the NPGMUSIC CLUB website posting on Friday saying that Prince was not showing up.
