i think Prince's point in being controversial is that he has spent sooo many years being controversial he's now trying to turn it all around and that actually is controversial in his mind.
it's like Cliff Richard saying a couple of year ago that he is the most out there artist on the charts right now simply becuz he's not into sex, crazy videos or cursing where as the majority of the artists out there now are. did i just compare Prince to Cliff Richard? | |

Fans who only loved Prince because he was sexy, or cussed, or dressed with a taste of ecstasy aren't true fans, they are perverts. They are the ones who want to be in the video show. "Who's he sleeping with now, how many moles does he have and where are they, what is his shoe size". The man is a musician people. He is a man, he is a person. People change. God is change. Nothing remains the same. If you want to remain stuck on stupid, that is your choice, but don't freak out when the change in Prince is not comfortable for you. Get out the man's bedroom and out of his head and into the music.
Until this earthshattering news I never posted on the Prince Music forum, because everything I wanted to know about Prince I found in the music. No wonder he's such a private person, all these dang gon freaks out here perpetrating like they his fans, when in reality they want to be his (wo)man.
