Prince song of the day, Uh Huh. Strange how Prince got away with writing this song for a pepsi Free commercial, but the media completely ignored it. Hell, most fans never even knew P wrote it until much later. But it is a wonderful song--completely wasted just to sell shitty soda. With some of the crap he put out in the 90's, why not release an amazing musical work such as this? Great piano, and Prince seems in a real up mood in the vocals. Some of his better lyrics as well.

The old school fun of this song is just infectious. Holla. I don't believe that he wrote the original that was used in the commercials. He did a take on it for Ray Charles though. If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot. | |
