Yes. But somehow too much like D'Angelo's "Untitled".
I really dig the latter part where I can't understand any of the lyrics.

The never got the meaning behind the last few lyrics:

Roses are red
Violets are blue
Fix them hoes some hocakes.
'cause hoes gotta eat 2.

This ranks up with one of Princes best imho..even the classic ballads...this song hurts real good.

This is some classic Al Green style--if he was in the machine still etc this would ..oh fucnk it..you know what I mean

I really enjoyed this song when it was first introduced, not its not so hot to me..

the song and glad he hooked up with Angie. She's a REAL soul sista.

Wish it had more of a live, organic, NPG '03 line-up, feel to it, though. It's got that 'High' plastic-y production.

Still, killer song.

I feel it had the best hit potential since The Most Beautiful Girl In The World, but independent releases don't stand the same chance these days...
