Prince, racist or not: release your next album soon! I'm a "whitey" myself and I don't give a damn about Prince's lyrics. Even if it is true that he's a racist (I don't believe so BTW, I think he's just busy discovering the racial history of the USA and is trying to get a grip on that), I would still buy his music 'cause he is TOO DAMN FUNKY!!!
So Prince, even if you are angry with us white folks (which I don't believe), may this anger inspire you to produce some heartfelt ballads and funk with an urge. Release that new album, man!  RIP Prince: thank U 4 a funky Time... |

Your post reminds me of an old funk song by The Brothers Johnson: "Get the funk out my face - get the funk out my face. If you don't like my music you don't have to use it..." Hmmm, that'll make a nice song for Prince to cover, with Larry Graham on bass. | |
