More thoughts on the liquid assetts programme regarding Sandra St.Victor

Am I right in thinking that Sandra St.Victor claimed that Prince never thanked/acknowledged her 4 the lyrics 2 'Soul Sanctuary'? Only this left me curious this morning as I checked the inner notes 2 Emancipation and what did I find...'Beautiful lyric written by Sandra'..and that the song was co-written by her. Can any1 clarify what she actually said as Ive 4got.

I think he acknowledged her,but just didn't pay her what she thinks she deserved?

Actually, she was rather dissappointed in the way they worked together. Or rather NOT worked together.

She gave him some lyrics (or demo's; I keep forgetting these 'important' facts) and he just went ahead and took from it what he needed.

In other words; he just ignored her. She wanted to have a bigger input.

Although I wonder why; her solo album was rather dissappointing too, just like Emancipation as a whole. Which is very surprising, as the work she did with The Family Stand was getting better and better. Too bad they stopped. Plantation Radio
