Is Madonna Refering 2 Prince In "American Life"? In the American Life song she talks about Changing Her Name?

"I called an old friend of mine just the other day No congratulations, no respect paid All she did was wonder if the rumors were true I said - "No, I ain't dead yet, but uh.. what about U?"  | |

Now he is Free = ahead~ Should I change my name is something wanna be stars think about. I am bored with Madonna saying that in a song if it is'nt influenced by the one and only best musical artist of our time that changed his name and told the record companies to go lay FACE DOWN. Yes Madonna you should change your name, you probably could get ahead. Warner Brothers probably has your Name under contract as well. The name Prince was trademarked right? The name was never under contract. And now the name Prince is not under contract either.
Correct me if I am wrong, but got our boy Prince ahead. | |
