"Nasty girl" by far, one of the funkiest jams Prince ever recorded. It's one of the tracks I keep in mind while creating my own music. This track is the shit, it's so damn funky!

There's really no competition."Nasty Girl" is the superior song.With it's funky bassline and in-your-face sexiness,it's a classic the moment you hear it.The lyrics are outrageous,and Vanity is the *REAL DEAL*.She comes across as a genuine "nasty girl",on the prowl and looking for a good time.


"Sex Shooter",on the other hand,seems forced and hastily written.This time around,the metaphors are more silly than sexy ("I need you to pull my trigger,baby,I can't do it alone"),and Apollonia is not the least bit convincing in this sex kitten role.Vanity was no singer either,but she at least brought alot of spunk and *personality* to the proceedings.Musically,"Sex Shooter" boasts a relentless groove,but in the end,it's just a cute novelty song and nothing more.

Nasty girl is a better song, but Sex Shooter turns me on.

I cringe when I hear the end of "Sex Shooter",with Apollonia saying those silly ad libs...

Do you guys remember the 12" version of "Sex Shooter"? It was kinda cool.It featured additional lyrics such as the part where Apollonia demands "Blow me away!" then they say "Come on kiss the gun!".Brenda and Apollonia then spell out the name "Apollonia",and Brenda says something like "you must all live for the dawn".They then repeat the "No girl's body can compete with mine" chant,before singing...

I think it's better than the album version.Oddly enough,you don't hear too much of Susan anywhere on this song.

Sex Shooter!! Funky as all get up and go. So is Nasty Girl, but something about SS gets me right here!

I love them both but the 12 inch of "Sex Shooter" is just so amazing but judging by the regular verisons I'd have to go with "Nasty Girl".
