Why is there so little music in the music club? Because Prince rather play a game of this or that with your ass. You are not my "friend" because you threaten my security.

Some of the articles in the site are very interesting and quite thought provoking - I enjoyed reading some of them.
However all the bible quotations was a bit much. And as interesting as the texts are, it is the NPG *MUSIC* club

No one should buy into NPGMC. Prince is a volatile and arbitrary party. I, for one, have been leery of purchasing anything from him since the Crystal Ball fiasco.
Love him like a estranged brother, but he has been talking at his listeners for a long time. Who'd want to subject themselves to that nonsense? Good night, sweet Prince | 7 June 1958 - 21 April 2016

Since I am not a member of NPGMC anymore, there are far less reasons to get mad about Prince.
go easy on your nerves, go without NPGMC. Sad but true !

I went to the sight once and have not been back. I will not join the club now or ever. Don't get me wrong, Prince is my favourite musician and I always look forward to new music etc., but I will not join his club. I will not get caught up in all his religious mumbo jumbo or his complaints about history or record companies etc...All I want is the music and hopefully that's what we will all get again in the near future.

People who have issues with joining the club can just keep their 25 bucks and give it to whatever sports team owner is vying to juke them in butt this season. It's all a matter of choice you see.

I thought the membership lasted a year. Maybe you should not jump to conclusions? [This message was edited Fri May 23 6:45:59 PDT 2003 by StCloud]

I have to say, the new site is original and looks good but I think it's got no content and is a bitch to get to where you want to go. I only have old fashioned dial up and i've only been to the site once because i can't be bothered with all the lovely graphics etc. I just want music and news!

ian said: Yeah it's my biggest gripe with the new website. No bloody music! "Moors of Spain" is nothing more than a statement in rhyming couplets. By calling them "lyrics" to a non-available song-it is nothing more than a statement with an agenda. "Music Club"?-that is a misleading and false representation of what you have gotten for your $25. You will get a year of statements-errr--"lyrics" and maybe rewarded in the end with an "opprutunity" to purchase maybe an album (2000Free: The Revelation Year"?) This "music club" has a hidden agenda-deep down you know it.
