hmmm...but the constant changes usually make for a more interesting song, in my opinion. It makes it musically more interesting- at least in the case of Everywhere and Strays of the World. | |

You took the word interesting right out of my thoughts ATWIAD (the song) starts out great and becomes more and more interesting all the way thru until the end! -------------------------------------------------

Exactly...ATWIAD is a really good example of that. With Prince, it's usually safer to expect the unexpected whenever you hear a new song from him, and that's what keeps him fresh after all these years. | |

I'm not too fond of the blaring ending to Digital Garden - that song is a little piece of wonderful  Depending on my mood I can handle the pounding ending, but most often I wish it kept that quiet thump.
And as for fantastic beginnings, Sexual Suicide's intro is KILLER & it never loses me, love the shit outta the whole song
