Best Madhouse album? Let's have a vote between 8, 16 ,24 (version 1) and 24 (version 2).
I think "24 (version 1)" is the best. (I love "18 R U legal yet" and "19 A girl and her puppy".) I think "8" comes in at a close second. So thats: 00 votes for 8 00 votes for 16 01 votes for 24 (one) 00 votes for 24 (two) [This message was edited Sat May 10 7:21:11 PDT 2003 by CAMILLE4U] NOTE: THIS ACCOUNT IS NOW CLOSED. 16 gets my vote -- the album was great and the b-sides and "remixes" of multiple tracks were great! Check out The Mountains and the Sea, a Prince podcast by yours truly and my wife. More info at https://www.facebook.com/TMATSPodcast/

i got these all downloaded.
the 1st is killer. but the 2nd has some sweet stuff also. not keen on the other 2 Madhouse albums but probably the sound quality has something 2 do with that. ***************************************************************************************

Some of 16 sounds very early House influenced.
It's kinda Funk/Jazz/Pop/House. The drum machines and orchestral stabs are fantastic.
