"i love u, i love you and i do care!" I don't think Witness has the gospel groove theme going on, since he is talking about a love affair and not the one with GOD. I have only two versions, how many versions are there of this song??? | |

There r 3 versions of the song.The 1st is the basic version , the 2nd feature embelissements by Wendy , Lisa and Eric Leeds and the 3rd is more "electronic" with a drum machine and some additional lyrics. | |

There r 3 versions of the song.The 1st is the basic version , the 2nd feature embelissements by Wendy , Lisa and Eric Leeds and the 3rd is more "electronic" with a drum machine and some additional lyrics. On the contrary, there must be more than 3 versions. The two I have heard, one is Prince and Wendy/Lisa singing I guess,the other one sounds like a full choir and Prince singing lead vocals. I say a choir because it sounds like a lot of gospel singers and not many voice over dubs of Prince or the revolution girls. I wouldn't be surprised if that choir sounding one is Prince though because he has fooled me many of times to where it was his voice in different pitches and I expected it to be others. *~* +*+ *?*

I have three versions of the song "Witness". Version 2 with the strong bassline is the one I like the best. Version 1 is truly a demo and version 3 has too many embellishments with the horns blairing over everything. __________________________________________________
