I was just cleaning my home and I put Prince in for once in a long time, and you know what I realized?

My daughter wanted to put on one of her dresses... and so she did that and then went and put on some lipstick and did her hair up... my son is sitting next to the stereo speaker recording the songs and my daughter is dancing around to Prince. Now... my daughter has always loved Prince's voice... I used to play certain songs of his to put her to sleep when she was a baby. But, sitting there, just now, watching her dance to these older songs of his...

I did that. I did that in 1979, listening to the album For You and through the years with each new album... and here, many years later, I am sitting on my chair and I am watching my daughter dance to the same songs I did as a child, in exactly the same manner I did.

I may not fully appreciate Prince's music as of late, but... there is something to be said for this, and, just, wow... (and, she has a little crush on Prince... just as I did when I was slightly older than her... up until the mid '80s).

I thought I would share that...

(Now, why the two of them keep bringing my glasses to me to put on... I will never know.)

And, I will say... this here, this just took away every thought of every shitty thing that happened to me today and all of the anger, aggravation and frustration that I've been feeling today.

It's really something else... I'm just sayin'...

I also think it is cool how u're kids took away all the pain u felt today.

Great when someone u love can do that.

u're happiness does not depend on them but with moments when they r just themselves, they take away all the crazy stupid crap that can happen day to day.

I thought it was so sweet when a girl took the brakepads out of my bosses car. Sigh..I miss aggravating that son of a bitch. =-)
