"Y do people of all backgrounds get along at Paisley Park, and not elsewhere?" I disagree with the premise underlying this question. What do y'all think?

Don't you listen to the lyrics? Paisley Park is only in your heart. Once you leave the building, you start hating again.

If 'Paisley Park' is in everyone's heart, then why is it that people do not truly get along there? For example, Prince.org, the Celebration, or even the NPGMC?
The idea that people of all backgrounds get along at Paisley Park, but not elsewhere, is simply not true.

The idea that people of all backgrounds get along at Paisley Park, but not elsewhere, is simply not true. It's an ideal, Anji - something to strive for - not a law of nature.

The idea that people of all backgrounds get along at Paisley Park, but not elsewhere, is simply not true. Because it's Princeland. The place where you can summon a camel at 3 a.m. and get it because you're Prince. That's why

I haven't been to Paisley Park. I went to MacArthur Park once, but it had a Lot of Litter. It was downright Unsightly. I hope they pick things up better than that at Pailsey Park.

Belive me..all the people at PP do not get along. This is clearly demonstrated every time Prince hits the stage and people start shoving and clawing their way to the front. -Dean is the cheese to my macaroni-

LOL. Come on Prince. I can walk into a local shopping mall and see people behaving, then turn on the news and see that same person under arrest for domestic violence. If people are at paisley park to see Prince, its somewhat of a formal gathering, its not like sitting on the couch at your friends house. If people paid 250 bucks to be at your celebration and several hundred bucks to travel there with accomodations, theyre not gonna blow the moment by getting into a loud verbal argument with someone over theology, or over whether or not his last 5 albums sucked ass, then risked being kicked out of Paisley Park and possibly banned. Noones gonna raise their hand at a rehersal and ask him stuff like why he dissed Nona, if he's ever done X, and other biting questions.

If I share this love with you, will you look into my soul and remember me?
If we get together and talk about life and what has happened in our lives, and how we possibly have shared the same happiness, grief, etc, will you look into my soul and remember me? If I go to a place and worship and sing and look at your face in desperation to find God's love, and then we see it in oneanothers eyes, will you look into my soul and remember me? If I go and see you at a wedding were we share the happiness there, will you look into my soul and later remember me? If I go and see you at a funeral where we share the same grief, will you look into my soul and remember me? If I see you out on the street, and I have no food, or drink, will you look into my soul and remember me? We are so very much alike, aren't we, we want to love, we feel sadness, we feel the wonderment of the earth, we really all want to be at peace and harmony don't we? Let us remember oneanother.
