Anybody remember when Prince played guitar on the street corner in Mavis's "Time Waits for No One" video... don't know if this has ever been brought up here...

I totally remember. I loved that album. First time he collaborated so extensively with a "mature" artist. I tried to catch the video on BET to tape it but the only time I got it they ended the video early...just as P picked up the gutiar..He was out her window and on the street corner under a fake street-lamp if I remeber correctly. Also one of my favorite and most underated guitar solos.

Yeah, the solo at the end sent shivers down my spine the first time I heard it. I think it's the first time on video that Prince was seen sporting a beard. There's a bit of trivia for you

I recall this. It was a good solo, an interesting new appearance for Prince, and a good overall project.
